So I know this up coming week is going to hectic and BUSY. When life gets busy, my nutrition is poor. I am short on time which means I usually will make poor nutritional choices like frozen over process meals, fast food, or I will just skip a meal…then I get hangry and get half the size of Africa. The struggle is real. Life is crazy with work, kids, school, extracurricular activities, or what have you.
And let’s face it, you CANNOT outrun your fork.
What we all can do to make weight loss and health a little easier is finding a day that you know you will have free time to do meal prep! Meal prep is easy, simple, and the biggest battle in nutrition 🙂 The best parts: Be creative, there are no rules, if you buy in bulk, you save money, and it takes any stress out of eating!
The biggest hurdle? Finding a time to do it! But just find a time that works best for you, and you will be grateful when you have your meals prepped for the week ahead!

-For example: I personally love to boil/bake several pounds of chicken at a time. It is an excellent source of protein and you can make multiple meals/recipes with chicken so you don’t have to eat the same meals every day! Chicken “Lasagna”,.chicken + broccoli, chicken + rice
-Choose recipes that will help you stay on track: calories, carbs, proteins, and healthy fats.
-Measure everything into each container so you know your serving sizes and nutritional information.
-Save your recipes and nutritional information, and MyFitnessPal has the tools to save recipes and calculate nutritional information!
-Before going to the grocery store, make a list of what you want to make for your meals!
